Yes! You can bake this yummy Banana Cake in a fry pan easily and quickly!
No oven is required to bake this super delicious Banana Cake.
All you need is very few basic ingredients available in the pantry and a fry pan.
Super quick, super easy, so moist & truly so delicious!!
Preparation takes hardly 5 minutes and the baking time is 20 minutes.
This cake is the best choice for your kids snack box , tea time snack or a treat to your guests during any gatherings.
Please note:
Here i have used less sugar as bananas have natural sweetness. You can add sugar as per your choice.
I have added extra virgin coconut oil. You can use any non-flavoured oil of your choice or butter.
Those interested in a healthy option, can use honey or jaggery instead of sugar.
You can even add any dry fruits of your choice.
Go through this quick and easy recipe.
Recipe:
Wet ingredients:
- 2 ripe bananas
- 2 eggs
- 4 tbsp sugar
- 4 tbsp oil
- 5 drops of vanilla essence
Dry ingredients:
- 100 grams all purpose flour
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 tsp baking soda
- 1/4 tsp mixed spice powder or cinnamon powder
- Pinch of salt.
Ingredients For garnishing:( optional)
- Few chocolates chips
- Few chopped dry fruits
Method:
Chop 2 bananas & add to a bowl.
Mash it with a potato masher or a fork.
Add eggs, sugar, oil, vanilla essence.
Mix well to a creamy consistency.
Keep a sieve above the wet ingredients bowl.
Add all the dry ingredients.
Sieve & add it to the wet ingredients.
Mix well.
Add few chocolates chips ( optional)
Mix gently.
Grease 8" fry pan.
Add the cake mixture. Sprinkle few fry fruits ( optional)
Keep any old pan on the gas. Heat it.
Keep the cake pan above this pan.
Cover & cook on a very slow flame for 20 minutes.
Insert a toothpick and make sure it comes out clean.
Delicious ,super easy , banana cake is ready to serve.
Cool & cut as per your choice.
