Try this super soft, quick, easy, nutritious Palak dosa which can be prepared instantly. 

Palak is rich in iron and strengthens immune system.  The vegetables added in this recipe provide protein, fibre & other essential vitamins. This is the best  option for your kids lunch box. You can add any vegetables of your choice 

This dosa can be served with any vegetable curry or meat /fish curry. But we all love it with mint chutney for breakfast. 

This dosa can be prepared quickly & easily, if all the chopped vegetables are kept ready in advance.  I have used egg in this recipe. But vegetarians can skip this. 

Try this nutritious dosa. 

Please note:

I have added many ingredients for this dosa to make it more nutritious. You can add whatever is available at home. Or can prepare it plain palak dosa without any extra ingredients.

Vegetarians can skip egg. 

Recipe 

I have used 200 ml cup for the measurement. 

Ingredients:

  • 1 medium bunch palak
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 cup wheat flour 
  • 1 egg( optional)
  • 1/2 cup chopped mushroom
  • 1/4 cup grated paneer
  • 1/4cup sprouted green gram
  • 1 medium tomato (chopped)
  • Pinch of baking soda
  • Salt to taste
  • Pinch of pepper powder
  • 1-1&1/2 cup water ( as required)
  • Ghee or oil for frying 

Method:


Clean palak, remove weeds, cut the roots,  wash thoroughly 3-4 times. 

Use only the leaves. Add these to the grinding jar. 

Add 1/2 cup milk & grind to smooth paste.

Add egg, wheat flour, little water & pulse again for 10-15 seconds.

Add enough water to get dosa batter consistency. 


Pour this mixture into a large bowl. 
Add salt to taste, soda, all chopped vegetables mentioned above. Mix well.

Grease pan. Pour a ladle full  of batter & spread to form thick dosa. 

Fry on one side for about 1 minute. Sprinkle little ghee/ oil on top & flip over. 

Cook on other side for another one
minute. 

Delicious, nutritious Palak dosa is ready to serve. 

Serve with mint or coriander chutney.
