AIR FRIED CRISPY BHINDI/OKRA
Crispy bhindi/okra is an ideal evening snack or an excellent side dish with dal-rice combo.
This dish is mostly deep fried or baked in oven.
Here i have prepared this dish in air fryer with only 1 tbsp oil.
This preparation is a much healthier option for health conscious people. Make sure to use fresh tender small size bhindi.
You can use spices according to your choice.
This quick easy snack can be enjoyed without any guilt as it is roasted in air fryer. You can prepare this in oven too.
RECIPE:
INGREDIENTS:
1st marination:
- 250 gms tender bhindi/okra
- 1 tbsp kashmiri red chilly powder
- 1/2 tsp coriander powder
- 1/4 tsp jeera powder
- 1/2tsp garam masala powder
- Salt to taste
- 1 tsp lemon juice
- 1 tsp chat masala
- 1 tbsp olive oil (optional)
2nd marination:
- 2 tbsp besan/
- 1 tbsp rice flour
Method:
Add all the ingredients under 1st marination & mix well. Keep aside for 10 minutes. ( please note: Chat masala contains salt. So use only required quantity salt )
Meanwhile preheat the air fryer for 2 minutes at 180°C.
Fry for 7 minutes at 180°C.
Serve immediately or can cool & store in an airtight container.
