Quick Cup Cake in Air Fryer


CUPCAKE

This super moist & delicious cake is prepared in air fryer.  Turned out very tasty & baked just in 12 minutes at 140°C.

The basket of air fryer is small. So I have done in small quantity using only 4 idli moulds to prepare this cake.  This also can be done using any ovenproof dish , moulds or cups.  I have also used disposable aluminium container to bake excess batter. 

Please note:

Make sure , there is enough space for air circulation in the air fryer. Do not cover the entire basket. 

I have taken 100 ml measuring cup for this recipe. 

Recipe:

Ingredients:

A

  • 2 eggs
  • 3 tbsp ghee/butter/oil
  • 2 tbsp set curds or hung curds
  • 5 drops of vanilla essence
  • 3/4th cup powdered sugar

B

  • 1 cup All purpose flour
  • Pinch of baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp baking powder. 
  • Pinch of salt. 

C

  • 3 tbsp Tutti fruity
  • 1 tbsp all purpose flour

Step 1:


Mix all the ingredients under A . I have used ghee. 

Step 2


Sieve all the ingredients under B & add to the egg mixture & mix well. 

Step 3:


The batter should have dropping consistency. Add 2 tbsp milk if required to get this consistency or if batter is thin, add 2 tbsp flour. 

Step 3:


Dust tutti fruity with all purpose flour & add to the batter. Gently fold in. 
Preheat an air fryer for 2-3 minutes.

Step 4:


Grease idli moulds with ghee, pour batter. Place moulds in air fryer basket. 

Step 5:


Bake for 12 minutes at 140°C . Insert skewer & if it comes out clean, cake is perfectly baked. 

Step 6:

Allow it to cool completely. 


Delicious, quick cupcake is ready.
