PAN-ROASTED CREAMY GREEN CHICKEN

This pan roasted chicken is loved by my family members. No oven is required to prepare this dish as it can be prepared easily in a nonstick pan. 

Recipe:

I have taken 1 kg chicken. 

Ingredients:

  • 5-8 green chillies(as per your choice), 
  • 2 tsp pepper corns, 
  • 1/2 cup coriander leaves, you can add mint leaves too. 
  • 1/2" ginger, 
  • 10 cloves of garlic, 
  • 1 small onion, juice of 1 lime, 
  • 1/2 cup hung curds, 
  • salt to taste.

Method:

Grind all above ingredients to smooth paste. I have added little dry herbs too to the paste after grinding.  (oregano, basil & thyme)( optional)

Mix 1 tsp butter. ( Use as per your choice. ) Tastes better with more butter.

Pierce whole chicken with fork all over & apply this paste. Marinate overnight. Put this chicken in pan without any oil & roast on a medium flame turning both sides for about 15 minutes. 

You can add some baby potatoes & carrots at the end & roast along with this. 

Delicious creamy green pan-roasted chicken is ready.
