HEALTHY FLAXSEED LADDUS

Flaxseed laddus


These laddus are grain free, sugar & oil free & are excellent energy boosters. They keep you fuller for longer time & can help you to increase your body's efficiency to lose weight. 


Flaxseeds

Flaxseeds are excellent source of Omega 3 fatty acids and anti-oxidants. They are rich in fibre. Highly recommended for diabetic patients. They have lots of health benifits.


Here is a recipe to prepare these laddus.

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup flaxseeds
  • 1 cup freshly grated or desiccated coconut
  • 3/4th cup soft seedless dates
  • 4 cardamoms
  • Pinch of salt.
  • 2 tbsp honey( optional)
  • Few nuts of your choice.

STEP 1

Pulse few nuts of your choice in a mixer grinder for 2-3 seconds & roast along with freshly grated coconut for 3-4 minutes & Keep aside. 

Dry roast flaxseeds on a medium flame  till you get good aroma ( for about 4-5 minutes) .  Slightly cool & powder in mixer grinder along with cardamom. 

Add dates, pinch of salt & pulse again for 8-10 seconds. 

Add roasted coconut with nuts & pulse just for 2-3 seconds.  Transfer this mixture to a bowl. 

Laddu mixture

Add 2 tbsp honey( optional) mix well & take required quantity mixture and roll out laddus. 

Delicious, healthy laddus are ready.
