FISH PAKORA

Fish pakora


Pakoras are mostly loved by all. Usually we do pakora with any vegetables but this time i have done with fish. It can be served as  an appetizer  or a side dish. Great way to feed fish to your kids. 

Pakoras are usually deep fried. But i prefer shallow fried with less oil or ghee. 

Here i have used butter fish cubes .

Kindly use the spices as per your requirement. 


Recipe


I have used 400 grams of butter fish cubes. 

Ingredients for marination:

A. 

  • 3 tsp Kashmiri red chilly powder
  • 1 tsp pepper powder
  • 2 tsp garam masala powder
  • 1 tbsp ginger garlic paste
  • Juice of half lemon
  • 1 tbsp oil
  • Few curry leaves
  • Salt to taste

B. 

  • 1 egg
  • 1 tbsp jowar atta

Method:

STEP 1

Marinate butter fish cubes with all the ingredients listed under A.


keep aside for 1-2 hours

Add egg & jowar atta & mix well. 

Heat 2 tbsp ghee in a pan & add marinated fish. Fry for 2-3 minutes on each side.  You can deep fry if you wish. 
Delicious  fish pakora is ready. 

Serve hot.
