No sugar, no all purpose flour, no butter/oil!
It's healthy & nutritious!
This guilt free cake can be prepared very easily with very few basic ingredients.
I have added few fruits and dry fruits which gives natural sweetness to the dish.
This is our delicious evening snack with a cup of hot tea/coffee .
Recently i injured my hand . Can't prepare any lengthy recipes. Tried this very quick & easy method to prepare this healthy , nutritious, super delicious cake.
Kindly go this easy recipe.
Please note:
Here i have replaced sugar with honey.
I used vanilla essence. You can use little cinnamon powder too.
I have used food processor. You can use mixer grinder to prepare this mixture.
Recipe:
Ingredients:
- 1 cup oats
- 1 apple
- 1 carrot
- 2 tbsp honey
- 6-8 dates
- Handful of raisins
- Little dried berries ( optional)
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup milk
- Few drops of vanilla essence
- Pinch of salt
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- Pinch of baking soda
Method:
Add oats to a food processor and
dry grind to a fine powder. Remove and keep it aside. Add baking powder, baking soda, pinch of salt & mix well.
Add carrot pieces, apple pieces, dates to the food processor and roughly chop.
Add eggs, milk, vanilla essence & grind for 10 seconds.
Add this wet mixture to oats & mix
well.
Add few raisins and dried berries. Mix well.
Pour this mixture to a greased baking tin.
Bake for 25-30 minutes at 180° C.
Remove & cool.
Slice as per your choice.
Super healthy, delicious, Apple Oats Cake is ready to serve.
