How many of you love pure ghee cake? 

Ghee cakes prepared in the bakery are too expensive and with added preservatives. 

You can easily prepare this bakery style ghee cake at home with very few ingredients! 

It's aromatic, super soft and just melt the mouth!! 

My younger son loves ghee cake & I prepare this  no fail ghee cake  whenever he comes on vacation. 


                        Homemade Ghee 

Ghee is the key ingredient in this recipe. Whenever  i prepare ghee at home, i prepare this delicious cake. The aroma of ghee while baking this cake  is truly heavenly. 

No eggs are used in this recipe.  Not  used any essence  here to retain the natural aroma of ghee. 


This cake is so moist and yummy that it just melts in your mouth and gets over in a jiffy.

This is the best choice for your kids snack box or any snack parties. 

Try this quick, easy and mouth watering recipe. 

Please note:

Here i have used only 1/2 cup condensed milk. You can use as per your choice. You can add 1-2 tbsp  sugar too if you wish. 

Instead of condensed milk, you can add only 3/4 cup sugar. But condensed milk gives authentic taste and texture to this cake. 


Recipe:

I have used 150 ml cup for the measurement. 

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup all purpose flour
  • 1/2 -3/4 cup condensed milk 
  • 1/2 cup hung curd/plain yogurt
  • 1/2 cup ghee
  • Pinch of salt
  • 1/4 tsp baking powder
  • Pinch of baking soda

Method


In a mixing bowl add condensed milk, ghee and curd. 

Mix well till it is light and fluffy. 

Seive all purpose flour & baking powder & baking soda.

Add this to ghee- curd mixture . 

Fold in gently. ( you can add 1-2 tbsp milk if the batter is thick)

Pour this into a greased baking tin  ( I have used aluminium foil box) . 

Bake in pre heated oven  at 180℃ for 25- 30 minutes. 

Delicious, fluffy, moist cake is ready. 

Allow it to cool. 
Slice as per your choice. 

Delicious, easy, tasty, super soft ghee cake just melts in your mouth. 

You can store this for 3-4 days at room temperature. Stays well for about 2 weeks in the refrigerator. 

Ghee cake without condensed milk


This cake is prepared without condensed milk. I have added sugar instead of condensed milk.
