DHANIA KEEMA
This is the easiest & tastiest dish which can be enjoyed with rice, roti, chapathi, naan etc. Goes very well with neeru dosa too.
The main ingredient which gives awesome flavour to this dish is the roots of coriander plants. We need 3-4 perfectly cleaned roots.
Soft oil-free phulka with Dhania keema is an excellent choice for lunch or dinner.
I added few veggies like carrot, potatoes, green peas etc. You can add any veggies of your choice.
RECIPE:
A. INGREDIENTS FOR MASALA:
- 3-4 green chillies( as per your requirements)
- 1/2" ginger
- 5-6 flakes of garlic
- 1/2 tsp coriander seeds
- 4 -5 coriander plants with roots
- 1/2 cup mint leaves
- 1 tsp garam masala powder
- 1/2 tsp pepper powder
- 1 large onion
- Little tamarind
- Pinch of turmeric
- 2 tsp coconut
B. Other ingredients:(for seasoning)
- 4-5 cloves
- 1" cinnamon
- 2 star anise
- 2 cardamoms
- 1 bay leaf
- 1 medium onion sliced
- 2 tsp ghee
Method:
Heat 2 tsp ghee in a pan & add all garam masala ingredients mentioned under B & fry till aromatic . Add 1 medium sliced onion and fry till slight brown. Add masala & fry on low flame for 2-3 mnts. Add chicken keema , salt, pinch of sugar to taste & masala water. Cover & cook till half done.
