FISH FINGERS

These are super crispy fish strips which can be served as an appetizer or a side dish. 

Kids will love this as it is super crispy from outside & tender on the inside. 

You need a boneless filleted fish for this recipe.  Try this super easy recipe which can be enjoyed by anyone. 

Recipe:

I have taken 400gms of butter fish fillet. This fish is called as Melg in tulu & darya denklo in konkani. 

Ingredients for fish marination:

  • 1tbsp  ginger garlic paste
  • 1tbsp lemon juice
  • 1tbsp soya sauce
  • 1tbsp red chilly sauce
  • 1tbsp pepper powder
  • 1/4 tsp garam masala powder
  • Salt to taste

Ingredients for frying:

  • Oil
  • 2 eggs
  • Breadcrumbs

Method:

Step 1:


Cut boneless fish fillet into strips.

Step 2.

Add all the ingredients listed under marination. 

Step 3:

Marinate & keep aside for 1 hour. 

Step 4:

Beat eggs in a bowl. 

Spread breadcrumbs in a wide bowl. 

Heat oil.( I use cast iron pan for frying)

Step 5:

Dip fish strips in the beaten egg mixture, coat well in bread crumbs & fry for  just 2 minutes in hot oil. Remove on an absorbent paper. 

Delicious , super crispy fish fingers are ready. Serve with any mayo dip or sauce.
