Tharsule losun-mirin / Taru buthai / Small sardines garlic -pepper curry This is my mom's most favourite fish curry. Now my favourite too. Small size sardines are called as 'tharsule' in konkani & ' taru butai' in tulu language. This fish is rich in protein, calcium, vitamins, and minerals.  Sardines is a most popular fish which is easily available for reasonable price. But these small size sardines ( baby sardines) are available only during particular season.  This particular curry is called as losun mirin curry / garlic pepper curry which has a unique flavour of garlic and pepper . This curry tastes awesome as these small sardines have natural oil & distinct flavour which makes this gravy so glossy and so yummy.  This curry doesn't suit for large size sardines.  Cutting & cleaning this baby sardines is a difficult task but it is worth the effort  when you relish this curry with hot boiled rice & some vegetable side dish. Wheat Parota

Wheat Parota  Parota is one of the most popular dishes served in most of the restaurants.  Usually, parota is made out of maida but i always prefer a healthy option. Here, i have used wheat flour instead of maida( all purpose flour).  Preparation is quite simple & easy. All you need is a chapathi dough & little ghee.  This flaky parota tastes awesome with any meat or fish curries or any special vegetable curry too.  Here is my version of easy , tasty , flaky parotas.  Please note: I have not used any oil while frying these parotas. You can use ghee or oil.  This is my quick & easy way of preparation. You can make small pleats on the parota and roll into a round ball. Or roll the dough into a spiral shape ball to make flaky parotas.  Recipe: Ingredients: 3 cups of wheat flour Salt to taste 1/4 tsp sugar 2 tsp oil Water for kneading 2 tbsp ghee for brushing.  1/4 cup wheat flour for dusting Method: Add salt, sugar, 2 tsp oil to the wheat flour. Chicken Curd curry  This quick & Easy Chicken Curry is one of the easiest & tastiest chicken curries which is prepared in the pressure cooker.  I never use pressure cooker for cooking chicken but this curry I  prepare only in the pressure cooker whenever i am too busy or when i have unexpected guests.   This curry tastes awesome with paratha, chapathi , neer dosa or roti.Tastes yumm with plain rice or ghee rice too.  You need very little oil or ghee for this recipe as the curd added to the dish makes the curry glossy & creamy.  Kindly note: Here i have used the spices , masala powders as per our requirements. Kindly add the spices as per your choice.  My family loves potatoes & carrot pieces in this curry. You can add or skip.  Broiler chicken cooks very fast. Country chicken takes a longer time to cook.  Kindly go through the following recipe for this glossy, tasty curry .  Recipe: For 1/2 kg chicken (washed & cleaned) Ingredients: For Masala: 1 large o
